The month of November is a National Diabetes Awareness Month and November 14th is World Diabetes Day. In light of this, the Aurora Foot Clinic would like to continue to support the community by offering Diabetic Foot Assessments. Through annual foot exams it is our goal to see a reduction in diabetes related foot complications in the community. Everyone living with diabetes should have at least one foot exam per year. This is because symptoms of nerve and circulation changes are often first seen in your feet. Early detection of damage to your feet is important to prevent problems later on in life such as wounds, infections and potential amputations. If you or someone you love has Diabetes and would like to know more about proper foot care – call to book an appointment today!
