Does this sound familiar?

  • Sharp pain in the heel with your first steps in the morning
  • Pain after sitting that eases once you get moving
  • An ache at the end of a long day on your feet
  • Pain that has lasted weeks or months despite rest

How we assess it

We look at how you walk, how your foot and ankle move, your calf flexibility and the shoes you wear most. A 3D foot scan is done when it helps with planning or orthotics.

What your plan may include

  • A stretching and strengthening program you can do at home
  • Footwear advice for work, exercise and the weekend
  • Taping and padding for short-term relief
  • Custom foot orthotics when your foot mechanics call for them
  • Shockwave therapy for heel pain that has not settled with other care
